There is this idea that natural hair can be tended to with a little luck and a few You Tube videos. Not true! Natural hair requires just as much attention as relaxed tresses, and Alia’s approach is to educate the client on how to achieve the results they desire. Whether through Zoom or an in-person consultation, Alia knows how to take the embarrassment out of asking, “I did the Big Chop. Now what?!” Alia did an excellent job of showing me how to care for my hair so that it will stay nourished and I can manage it instead of my hair managing me.
